Oh brother. You slay me. There was no racism here. The simple fact of the matter is that people with the means to get out, got out. The people that were left were either too poor to get our or were too invalid. Now it just so happens that these poor people happen to mostly be black, as is the case with many of our poor communities in America. That's not racism. Those are just facts. You know, I just can't stand it when people use the race card. It's such a copout. It's always used to excuse such barbaric and poor behavior.

What do you call it when a city that's as important as NO gets only partial protection against hurricanes? The top hurricane is a CAT 5.....NO had protection up to a minimal CAT 3. Even if racism didn't lead to that decision, you try defending it in front of a group of educated black folk. Good luck!
