I don't remember you asking any "question"; but if you did, I suspect I elected not to waste the time.

One could argue that you "elected" not to answer because you couldn't. But why bother......you wouldn't admit it if it were true.

I don't think the Administration's response was "perfect". I just think it has been excellent given the circumstances. Perfect would mean that nobody ever had to wait for food or water. But that obviously isn't a reasonable expectation.

The administration was imperfect and must less than excellent. Many people have died and are sick because of the incompetence.

To have evacuated all these people to shelters in other cities and states in the face of this kind of catastrophe, in the course of five days, is nothing short of miraculous.

Not with the amount of equipment and manpower at the disposal of the president of the US. That's why other countries are in shock. But it goes beyond that.......its the total breakdown of civilization that was allowed to occur in NO and the criminal negligence when it came to rebuilding the levees.

You said NO will never be the same after this disaster. In a way, you are right. NO will be much better after this....the same guilt that got the Zionists Israel and a lot of freebies after WW II will benefit the people of New Orleans in a similar fashion.

What it may also do is lead to a very significant shake out in Washington. The level of corruption and mismanagement there is becoming a huge embarrassment. Things have to change or this country is going to go downhill.
