Like this is news (all LA guard in Iraq). This was all over the opinion pieces in the papers but nobody was actually confirming it.

I have a question about this-

Does LA the state GET PAID for sending their guard to Iraq? Serious question. In other words can a state try to cheat the devil and "sell" their troops to the local government for some sort of onetime payout? Because most states don't have ALL their guard in Iraq, but LA seems to.

And consequently, nothing was left at the state level for the relief effort. Duh.
