The disorder didn't occur until later. The longer you wait, the more disorder occurs. That happens everywhere.

No, doesn't just happen. There are people who caused it and these people should have been in jails.

As the hurricane was approaching, I was talking to a guy who lives in Harlem (which is no picnic) and he said that when he was in NO recently, he has seen so much crime going on during the daylight in front of his own eyes, in the downtown (or whatever the tourist part is called) that he has never seen in NYC.

This lawlessness was a ticking time bomb. It didn't just "happen".

BTW, there was 9/11, the blackout in NYC, and nothing happened. Because there was a competent local police and fire response, backed up by state National Guard. Forget the Feds.
