In Aus pundits are predicting the Aussie to go to 80 cents US. Suits me. Aussie stock market down including News Corp which today broke down out of a big triangle formation and hopefully predicts the direction of the US markets this week (down). News is getting to key support but clearly I think it will fall much lower maybe $1.50 or so Aussie or American take your pick.

Telstra also down big (5%). Today they forecast profits down by 7-10%. The government wants to privatize the remaining 50% and management keeps coming out with really negative statements like this and last week one of the top execs said he wouldn't recommend his mother to buy it. Bizarre. I think he is one of those imported Americans as is the CEO. The stock price has been falling for a while...
