The more oil from oil sands the more need for investment in refining capacity. Somewhere along the line the flood of money into northern Alberta will plug the pipeline. I cannot begin to imagine the logistics involved. I am also amazed that there does not appear to significant environmental issues involved. Back in my oil shale days that was a huge issue - as we were going to retort the state of Colorado.
