"Where should we have dropped it this time? Into the water??"

20% of New Orleans wasn't flooded and I10 West was passable. Moving some of that pre-postioned aid that FEMA claims to've had there probably wouldn't have been the worst idea. Heck, and this is realy radical, moving it in before the city flooded seems like it has some merit. The first levee breach happened Monday morning. After all, it had just been pasted b a hurricane and one well-known side effect is the lack of power and potable water. Anybody with experience would have known that. Oh, that's right.

How about starting at the convention center which was on dry land and the people there had no food and water for 5 days. Of course, the mayor should have run and found a Piggley Wiggley that was open and gotten food for them. After all, Mr. Bush was at a fundraiser......how was he to find time to run to the store??

Isn't it amazing? The most grievous blunder done by gov't on American soil in recent times and they are still trying to defend it. How many people have to die before they get it that this is not some arguable point that is worth defending? I don't know what these people are but they are not Americans.........at least not the ones I grew up with.
