What browser are you using? If it is IE, an easy fix might be to install Mozilla 1.7.11 and enable it's popup blocker and then do not use IE anymore. In addition, if you are not running spybot 1.4, it would be a good idea to download and run this. It is freeware. Another thing you might try is when the popup is there, do ctrl+alt+del and write down what process are running. Then when you get back to where u start a message reply, then do the ctrl+alt+del again and see what process is not there anymore. This could start to narrow down the cause of this.
