Yes, indeed a scary thought. I think we are going to have to consider man made and nature made disasters as the same thing....disaster. We seem to have people at every level of government, city, local, state, national, that sit in meetings, take days, months and years on studies, and investigations, and still not much is accomplished. Say whatever you will, but many in the Military are trained to think out of the box, and so are many Corporate heads....We need more of them, and perhaps fewer that have spent their entire lives in the Government per se'..... We also need to have some of these panels include smart local citizens of different areas on the task forces. Some of the people here on SI have raised very good questions and those questions should be taken into consideration, with responses as to amount of time, and what capability it would take to accomplish the particular tasks in mind...
