Tell him the magnetic fields around Moslem synagogues is especially powerful and the reason they have the high minarets is to give good dispersion of the magnetic flux into the atmosphere. He need only contemplate the good weather around the middle east to see that it's true. The sunshine on Islam is not by accident. It's the human magnetism. If we built a lot of minarets and aligned towards Mecca 5 times a day, kneeling in rows and crowds like aligned iron filings [you could show him a magnet and the effect on iron filings as evidence of the effect], then we could improve the weather in NZ too. In fact, the weather has been improving over the last few years, albeit to only a small extent [there aren't many Moslems in NZ yet and few of their churches]. He could improve his local microclimate by having a bunch of Moslem refugees live in his house, with a minaret and kneeling five times a day towards Mecca [note that they should not point themselves through the Earth, but just as the normal magnetic flux loops around Earth, they should face towards the horizon]. By thus affecting the normal magnetic flux, the weather is controlled. Easy peasy. The USA DARPA crowd are working on that, of course. They aren't using people. They will use generators and inductively coupled magnetic flows which will be even more powerful. They'll be able to cook up a tornado in a 1 km2 area in Beijing and do it from the USA, just as they currently fly Predators around Iraq, with the pilot back in Blighty. Mqurice

Internet crash ... here's the last paragraph: They'll be able to drop torrential rain and cause flooding. They'll be able to push the permafrost line further south [not good for Russia or Canada if they misbehave, or are not in compliance with Presidential dictate]. They'll be able to dump feet of snow [admittedly only during wintry months, though as long as it's already fairly cold, they'll be able to push it down another 5 degrees and bring on the snow].
