"Did you see it? It was terrible." That part was pretty bad. The worst was his claims of FEMA turning back those trucks with water, refusing to allow the coasties to give them fuel and the cutting of the emergency phone lines.

It seems there are a group of people who EXPECT that whatever tragedy befalls them the federal government can or should bail them out. Newsflash: Our government simply cannot guarantee that everyone will live through a natural disaster. Particularly when huge numbers of people are not evacuated even after the federal government insists that everyone should be. Some of them are, unfortunately, just too damned big.
