Remember when Bush senior was AMAZED by the supermarket laser scanner? The same ones we'd been checking out on for ten years.
I think the Bush I family is a little out of touch with the common man.<g>

I don't know about the Siverdome. There's this mile long ex Lockheed factory in San Diego they could use. It's been empty for a decade. No AC needed.

The D.C. Armory has been opened to refugees. War veterans have already been relocated to DC in the past couple days and are being taken care of.

Most interesting of all.......commercial cruise ships being used to house the homeless....fully staffed, no less.....but (LOL!), the Wash Post story pointed out that cruise ship "luxuries" will not be provided....no gambling, for example. Oh, rats.
