You are probably right, but we are not talking using shiny metal to FLEE the bad place, from what I understand these people preaching doom and TEOTWAKI - you will be IN the bad place with lawlessness and collapses of government and currency - so protege - you are in the superdome - there is lawlessness and no government control around - how much use is shiny metal going to be to you?

I do not think I have heard Jay say he will use his gold coins to FLEE his island paradise - but when the whole world goes TEOTWAKI - he will use his gold to buy things - I just dont see the starving guy in the superdome using gold to buy things from armed thugs - makes no sense to me.

I think they're thanking their lucky stars they had the barbarous metal instead of say, a few multiunit rental properties that are now Atlantissed!<NFG>
