Bush and FEMA are primarily to blame, not "all politicians". When the GOP senator of Louisiana gives Bush an "F" for his response, then you know Bush really has been negligent. And if you're going to attack Dem governor Blanco, fine, but also attack GOP governor Barbour. But remember, the overwhelming majority of the responsibility for disasters this huge lies on the heads of Bush and FEMA, along with the military Bush and FEMA are supposed to call in to help.

Also, Blanco and Barbour were both severely limited by half their Guard and equipment being wasted over in Iraq.
