Crossy: agreed - you talked about producing companies... sorry. - However, it has become difficult to find North American E&PRODUCTION companies that still fly under the radar screen of the investment world... it rather looks as if we've already entered the phase of the "Dienstmaedchen-Rally" as we call it in Germany... so (IMHO) if someone is in "for the big bucks", s/he has to look for promising companies with no or very small production (yet) but great assets, large acreage, proven management (look at EGSR.OB to see what a lousy management can (not) do to a company!), i.e. with great potential for success within the next 24 months (as the NG (and CL) crisis unfolds in full in the first quarter of '06 and well-into '06 and early '07 (IMHO), we will see lots and lots of M&A activity in the oil patch... and what the biggies will be looking for is reserves - not production, IMHO) !

cheers - Laurin
