The Intel memory controller is still off-chip. That means the two cores can't talk to anything - even each other - without checking off chip first. That means there is little improvment over the single core. Dell servers will be inherently a lot slower than H-Paq servers using AMD dual core chips. That's going to force Dell back into the lowest of low margin part of the business.
