Party Poker's growth slowing. today.reuters.com I was also surprised to see it was a company I own, SportingBet.Com, who was bidding for EmpireOnline, not Party. I have no idea how that fits. Empire shares Party's platform as a "skin". It seems unlikely that the owner of ParadisePoker will be welcome to operate on the Party Poker system. Also, Party can cut off Empire at any time, and joining up with Sportingbet would provide ample reason to do so. BTW, note that Party's "declining" revenues were up 89% in the first half.

I play at both Paradise and Empire.

Hi KT; Re: "Carl, I played against what I was certain was a robot on PokerRoom this weekend. The player raised before the flop every time and didn't chat at all. He also folded if raised at the river, after bluffing all the way. He lost all of his money in about an hour."

That does sound like a robot player. But do you think that that is the best a robot player can be?
