We can never trust Bush again. As if we could before Katrina. Now Republicans cannot trust him again either. The lesson of Katrina is, when your life is on the line, GW will be on vacation like he was before 9-11 when he ignored those warnings. Then he will make excuses and blame it on someone else, even the victims.

Even with this valiant rescue effort, as late as it was, we see Bushie abuses creeping in. No-bid contracts to Halliburton, favoritism toward whites in Mississippi and unfair smears of devastated local leaders, while pretending Bush and FEMA acted promptly. Plus more and more and more gas gouging. Bush hasn't said a word about punishing gougers. I'm sure there's more. Whenever Bushie see 10 billion being spent they try to get it for themselves. Just the way they are. They loot the federal government and consumers on a constant basis.
