tyke - Hey, I didn't say "mere"! In fairness, I did not have more than a few seconds this AM to check out that site. If there is a way to enter the TSX symbols, I think that would be preferable.

The reason I say this (and I could be wrong, it happens a lot), is as follows. Sticking with the CPHGF example, when I look at the volume for that symbol (at my broker or Yahoo! or MSN Money), then what I see for volume is only the shares that have traded that day for that symbol. In other words, if CKG.V trades 22,500 shares, but only 500 shares trade as CHPGF, then CHPGF shows volume of 500.

So, in my experience, looking only at the OTC symbol instead of the underlying Canadian-exchange-traded security is misleading to the point of near-uselessness. TA on CKG itself is absolutely useful and looking at the weekly chart of CKG.V is one of the reasons I added last week.
