I think you're in for a shock.

While certain areas will be worth salvaging by stripping the interiors and remodeling, if you are at all familiar with these areas you know that this won't be case in huge chunks of New Orleans.

Even if true, there are going to be serious toxic mold problems. If for no other reason, those houses will be demolished because of this risk.
