I think the market is saying Katrina is soooo last week.

Gas futures down $0.87/gallon from the spike high last week.

I think there's money swilling around from all sources (federal government, the Fed, etc). It's finding its way into the market one way or another.

I know you were only asking in jest, but your question was actually quite timely. Nicolas Kiefer just took the second set against Federer. I think it's highly unlikely that he'll beat him, but still, a set off of Federer is pretty impressive nonetheless. <g>
