Great point. Just another reason for more folks to move to Salt Lake. Maybe even Louisiana native Karl Malone comes back to play one year?

But why have we heard little about places like Detroit, Pittsburg and Cleveland? Those would be obvious places for a host of reasons.

SLC definitely needs help in the food dept. The only native food invention I've discovered here is this stuff called "fry sauce", which is used to dip french fries in instead of catsup. (You have to ASK for catsup at a burger place, or you get fry sauce) Fry sauce seems to be a combination of mayonaisse and catsup, with the emphasis on the mayo.
