Cutting taxes raises revenue - to a point. We're way past it. Besides, Bush cut taxes on the wrong class of people to boost the economy - if he'd given the working, spending class as much as he shoveled to HIS class, it might have worked more efficiently. The estate tax is the most progressive tax we have, and Bush wants to ELIMINATE it. Who better to tax than dead rich people?

I suggest you read David Kay Johnstons's book, so you'll KNOW something.

Tenchusatsu,

If you really want to see federal revenues shrink, by all means raise taxes.

Let's if "Angie" wins big, and if she gets to introduce flat tax in Germany:

If she does, no one will be able to resist the idea on the entire European continent, and the idea of progressive taxation will go the way of the Dodo bird.
