re: Which is wrong. The first levee breach occurred on the 29th. This morning's WSJ had an article this morning that the east side of NO actually started flooding during the hurricane, with the real rush of water coming only a few hours after the eye passed. Wish I could post the article, it is very good with some new information (I only get the hard copy, not the on-line version). BTW, I think the WSJ might get a Pulitzer for the coverage of Katrina. It's excellent.
