Actually, strange as it seems, the economy is likely to improve over this disaster. Construction industry will be busy for years, unfortunately prices at Home Depot type places will probably rise for us do it yourselfers as there is likely to be shortages of just about all materials. I bet even the tech industry will benefit as there must be a lot of destroyed computers, servers, cell phones etc etc. finally all those flooded vehicles got to be replaced by something. Already real estate prices are skyrocketing throughout the near by area. jdn
