$2k is probably a drop in the bucket compared with getting a free trailer, courtesy of FEMA.

If we were living in the Roosevelt era, someone would come up with a plan to put the homeless and jobless to work in public works projects, where maybe they could participate in rebuilding old or building new homes for themselves and others.

Times have changed, however.
