Pat Robertson served in Korea. There have been those who criticize that service saying that he was just a gofer for a General, but, hey, generals need flunkies during a war. So, I give him a passing grade for once having been a patriot.

Lowther, there is bias to your list. If you include McGovern why not Nixon -served WWII . If you include clinton why not Bush 41 - Navy pilotWWII shot down in combat. Why exclude Bob Dole a diasabled vet who served in WWII and lost the use of his right arm? Do you only respect democratic veterans? Your list is short there are 435 members of the House of Representatives 100 Senators and 50 governors I wonder who else is conveniently excluded? I am quite certain that the democratic list is more impressive so there is no need to disrespect the service of the aforementioned republicans by IGNORING them! Mike
