German press starts to doubt Merkel's finance guru

So Ted, what kind of expertise do you believe the "German press" has in this area? Most of those guys have a political orientation they believe must by definition be on a head on collision course with anybody talking of tax decreases.

Kirchoff is a pro, an expert in this very area and the model he presents has been scrutinized by several of his peers and found to hold its water.

Taxation progression is a rudiment still left over from the Karl Marx times. It's one of the main old fronts still defended by the socialists.
Unfortunately it has no chances of survival as the new EU countries adopt flat rates from 15% (Estonia) and up to no more than 25%.
Or why do you believe Ireland is doing so great right now?

It's over for Schröder and his buddies in Germany. Next to go is the same party ín Sweden and I foresee a long nuclear winter for those guys in all Europe. Let the press have their biased opinion as usual. None of that will help keeping your heros in power in Germany or elsewhere in Europe for now.
