Basically he's insensitive and detached. That's not a crime. But when you're President of the United States, working on your golf game and tan is not the priority. So, basically, I blame him for wanting to hold a job for which he is simply not intellectually equipped to handle.

Regardless, there was a complete collapse of government since the early warnings of Katrina surfaced.

First of all, the Mayor of New Orleans should have been aware of the elderly's lack of mobility. He also didn't seem to have any serious control over the police force.

Secondly, the Governor of Louisiana should have been aware of the need for real shelters outside New Orleans and should have been working with the Mayor on the need for evacuation plans in general.

Finally and, most importantly, everyone in positions of responsibility--that includes the Mayor, the Governor, and, of course, THE CHIMP--should have been aware of the serious cuts in funding for the levees.

I blame the chimp for his callousness and his demands for utmost loyalty. Louisiana simply wasn't in his "base." Alaska, for example, is in his base and receives more "pork." I also blame the chimp for making so many levels of government mediocre. Does anyone really think "Brownie" is doing a "heck of a job?"
