as far as new orleans in it's future configuration....i do hope much effort and thought is put into any rebuilding plans...

I am afraid they will go gung-ho and swear to rebuild it exactly as it was

or too many cooks and ending up with mulligan stew

the high ground historic french quarter has to be saved - it is a national treasure - along with so much running the river [higher ground than pontchartrain] - the garden and business districts

pontchartrain is so shallow, is in a huge basin and along with the adjacent lakes form is a complex estuary

maybe the entire basin needs to be turned into a national park

but the people who have lake homes will scream
