Ted, We would still be colonies if the colonists had that philosophy. Actually, the colonists were taxed too much, not too little. Not only that, but the colonists were considered unworthy farming hicks by the British aristocracy at the time. Kind of like the way liberal elitists regard red states ... ;-) No, but we can tax them appropriately both while they are living and when they die. I'm waiting for the day when income taxes are eliminated for all but the richest 20% of Americans. Tenchusatsu
