O.T. Soros, I have been pondering that very question.

Clearly some of those that have been transported to the various arenas around the country, were working folks that got caught due to either, lack of dependable transportation or unwillingness to leave in a timely manner and got stuck.

I suspect that with in a fairly short period of time, that those willing to work will be doing so, leaving the chronic welfare recipients behind.

Case in point, a job fair was held in Shreveport on Tuesday, from those present(taking applications), it was estimated that somewhere in the 10% range of evacuees attended. As a side note transportation was provided to the job fair from all shelters in the area(greater Shreveport/Bossier City).

My wag is somewhere in the 75-90% range were chronic recipients of aid, I am tending to the higher figure.

I will try to do stat digging in my spare time.

Dave.
