If I seriously had the option I could probably find an eligible Democrat that I would prefer to Bush, most likely someone at the state level in a state that isn't particularly liberal. But I probably could not find a Democrat that could win the nomination, or even come in 2nd or 3rd that I would prefer to Bush.

Bush isn't libertarian enough for my tastes, but then what prominent national politician, Democrat or Republican is really an advocate in both deed and word for small government? Bush isn't, McCain isn't, neither of the Clintons are or were. No one that I have heard mentioned as a serious presidential candidate from either party is.

Who's your favorite candidate? Also are there any Republican candidates that you could see yourself voting for, at least if the Democrats nominate someone who fails to excite you?
