Tim, I welcome the diverse back and forth that SI threads make possible and am loathe to shut much of anyone out for any real length of time.

I just bookmarked the thread you linked in your post. I did not know of that one. While being more of a dog person, I genuinely like cats and am ever fascinated by them.

I know that many think cats to be untrainable. This is perhaps because cats do not get off on approval from other creatures including us humans. What many people do not know is that there are dog breeds of the same "elk," and it can take a lifetime and beyond to train such canines. - Holly
