Quit defending Bushie oil gougers. They're the biggest thieves of the 21st century and they even have us giving them corpoate welfare. We're not talking about "going without oil". You make it sound like industries have a perfect right to band together and price fix. That's illegal. Ever since Bush-Cheney were first nominated the oil business have all been in collusions, and because of deregulation, there's nothing we can do except try to sue them later. But now all that needs to change. Starting with windfall profits taxes.
