The ones who were driven off the land by the "war veterans" are not the original guys from the time of the Smith regime but people who, in fact, were given permission by Mugabe to farm in Zimbabwe. And, as I suppose you know, the "veterans" were also chased off their newly acquired farms which have now been generously donated to members of Mugabe's Zanu PF party. The truth of the matter is that none of this land became the property of needy Zimbabweans who, one might argue and I'm sure you do, were originally dispossessed of it. But I won't dwell on the subject of Zimbabwe.
