THE AMERICAN FALLUJAH

Right you are!

And with access to the city being shut tight as a drum, no pictures of bodies, really no pictures of anything, journalists effectively SHUT DOWN from using their own eyes and ears and noses, pretty soon (in fact probably right now) the Press is back to:

-- receiving the Official Story only
-- standing up on their hind legs and begging for scraps of any
little detail exclusively for them
-- passing on, therefore ONLY the 100% certified Karl Rove version of "reality"

In a certain sense Fallujah was just a proving ground for all these techniques. There Napalm and Cluster Bombs and (probably)
DU were used against a largely civilian population.

Here, Nature has supplied the fundamental devastation, combining with the CRIMINAL NEGLECT both before and after this
tragedy.

Bush and friends have been VERY consistent. They have demonstrated UTTER DISREGARD for human life and dignity.
Excusable in Fallujah? No--just far away. In New Orleans even less so because it is simply NOT believable that the populace would have been so treated if their bodies had been less heavily pigmented. And they are U.S. citizens! That is supposed to mean something!

Crass Racism?--you bet! Genocide?--you decide.

Criminal?--certainly, in my view. Practically, it will never happen because "criminal" requires somebody to be charged and found guilty and neither will take place. Guck, sometimes the Senators don't even get written copies of legislation being voted.

We have gucking Government by hearsay. Very innovative concept!

Namaste!
