Part of the problem with this disaster was there are so many people on the area who have become dependents and have forgotten or worse, never learned, how to take matters into their own hands. I doubt any politicians will say this publicly but it should be brought up, IMO.

I did hear a story of a young man who commandeered a bus right as the flood waters started to rise. He picked up and saved 85 people. That sort of initiative is what self reliance breeds.

Perhaps the Act of God is a MESSAGE to "moderate" and "populist" America to FINALLY purge the last of this domestic enemy-before it's too late.

Of course, Blowhard Bill O'Reilly would be too busy interrupting God and grilling him about "the border", to find out what He had to say...
