BC, any thoughts on SINA? the decline since March of last year still looks corrective, and most up moves ever since 2002 look impulsive, including those of last February and August. Still, it's time for it to either do it, or get off the pot. (Or, I'll get off the pot -g).

Thank you for your post bc.

Re: long-term holdings, I have a few others as well -- which I'm happy to share. QCOM and GE are VERY long-term holdings for me. I've also owned CSCO for quite some time and have done fairly miserably with that one. I currently still have part of my GOOG position which is intended as a long-term holding. That, however, could change if there's a huge run-up OR if the chart starts getting ugly -- just too far to fall with that one. Also, I almost always have a position in QQQQ (either short or long) -- although I guess that wouldn't really qualify as a long-term holding. FWIW, I'm currently long the Qs.

I'm encouraged by your comments about SIRI.

However:

I was hoping for fast, impulsive as opposed to "slow, creeping" -- but I guess I'll take what I can get. <g>

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about SIRI. I appreciate it.
