A very likely scenario ends up being a much steeper yield curve looking out perhaps a year out just in time for 2006 midterm elections<g>

So coastal housing gets smacked and the real economy limps along unless the spike is dramatic with perhaps the ten yr moving quickly to near double digits? Then we might experience a real economic collapse like 1974 or 1980?
