Jeanne, I use AVG with SP2 without problems. I would not get rid of SP2 since it provides some security. Maybe the FAQ section on the AVG site can answer your questions. grisoft.com If not, check all the AVG settings relating to email again. Is Norton AV completely removed? Often registry entries remain. To clean unneeded entries from the registry you could use the free 30 day trial of Ace Utilities acelogix.com I liked Ace enough to buy it, but you don't have to.
