It's hard to put an animal down. Years ago my mom had a dog that was so old he had gone blind and I took him to the vet for her. I have a puppy to pick up from the vet today. He got out and got hit by a pickup truck yesterday. I wasn't there, but my daughter was and the driver didn't stop. The pup is lucky and will recover. I hope he now knows to be wary of the street. As for cats, I have 3. There's a mommy cat about 6 and a son and daughter from the same litter that are 4. All their personalities are different. Pets are a lot like family members. * * *
