Also, more and more parts of the economy are considered "strategic" France is ahead of both the US and China in understanding the strategic importance of yogurt. I would not be surprised if Russia gets to "win" something vs. the US. After losing most of Eastern Europe and now Ukranie, they need a visible victory for internal stability, and my guess is they will get a good one. Meanwhile, Russia has demographic issues, China and India get all the FDI, and the US and EU economies are growing, and where is Russia's overseas influence ?
