Why didn't Bush go out in a boat, or jump into the toxic gumbo and try to rescue someone (anyone, a pet perhaps) Perhaps because he is the President and has responsibilities and concerns that you and I can only imagine? Because to do so would put him unnecessarily at risk, and if some whacko sniper decided to take a shot,it would create huge problems for this country? I could ask the same question of you, or of myself. Why weren't we out there, trying to rescue people? By the way, and I'm sure this is no suprise to you, but I think Sean Penn is a moronic dickhead who should stick to doing what he does best, making movies.
