This all also proves the total phoniness of the Iraq war "coverage" The media has spent MONTHS fabricating a huge Bush bash over the Iraq war by ignoring the progress and engaging in what is essentially a propaganda campaign for the subhuman Islamic enemy . But along comes a hurricane, and the media thinks they can fabricate an even GREATER Bush bash, so Iraq disappears like a fart in the wind. THEN they find out the Democrats killed their own in New Orleans and any coverage, no matter how slanted, can't help but make Bush a hero once again. But they can't LEAVE New Orleans until they have been able to feed their sicko viewers a body count. I don't feel sorry for propagandists, and I think this has hurt them BADLY. I also think it has hurt Fox News to the extent THEY got sucked in. Time to let Geraldo move on-and very possibly Blowhard Bill along with him...

You are correct. The death tax primarily affects the middle class. Most of the rich and most business owners of any size have excellent advisors. They use loop holes and artificial structures to avoid paying too much death tax. I suppose that lawyers and accountants are probably against the elimination of the death tax, because it would reduce their fees. The truly wealthy become the head of the SEC and get a special loop hole passed so he can pass his entire ill gotten estate through with no death tax,a nd then have it closed so no one else can use it. Why would the government want to add to the stress of recent widows and the children at a time when they need support instead of the heavy hand of a tax collector? The death tax is immoral.
