"Tenn-Tom" canal anyone? Tens of millions annually for "sand replenishment" efforts at and near resort communities? The Corps is FAMOUS for wasting billions in big engineering projects, justified with phonied-up economic analysis that never seems to pan out in reality. Likely only the Agriculture Department or Interior Department waste a bigger portion of their funding then the Corps does. ... And, the wasteful spending has been going on for years and years and years....
