I remember, shortly after moving back to New Orleans in 1975, a little kid about 8 years old mugged an old lady, and one of the ladies standing around afterwards said,

"They ought to dissolve that one."

Funny, shocking, but a lot of truth. What can you say about an 8 year old kid already mugging old ladies? It's not like he was a good kid who went bad. He never was a good kid.

But dissolving them isn't an option.
