"Republican House of Representatives Majority Leader Tom DeLay told a news conference at the Houston Astrodome he "vehemently" disagreed with any proposal to set up an independent commission to look at botched aid effort." Typical De-Lay response. This is a commission that could actually save lives in the future. So what do we do instead...just let President's put cronies on the payroll of our federal relief agency and never question the structure or numerous failings that might take place?
