Well give it time and the ignorant will go to personal insults. I've ducked no question. But it is amusing that fools think they have a right to ask any question and if it is not answered they are then justified at implying a question of another's honesty.

I call that a disgraceful practice of any human being. I deal objectively with other's ignorance and stupidity.

I do not see your one liner as an explanation but more a revelation of a lack of understanding.

Now measuring a standard distance or a temperature is simple or difficult depending upon the scale and the accuracy desired.

Establishing a standard measure of distance and temperature was done a long time ago and is mostly agreed upon. You have rational English units and the fools units.

There are many tricks of the trade that make measurements simple are all quite simple and apparent when one fully understands the science underlying the process.

I have never found understanding basic science tricky. When I took my physics achievement test in my HS junior year I was satisfied with my 723. I did not take physics util my senior year.
