Do you have hurricanes in New Zealand? Typhoons, I suppose, is the proper designation. Just curious.

Globalstar phones are doing a good job. 15,000 or thereabouts sold in the last week or two.

They cleaned out the old stock right to the walls. Here is a post I put up on the subject the other day. Message 21679758

I hate to say this, and I hope its untrue, but I am beginning to think the media, as usual, blew this all out of proportion suffering wise, then the mayor and govenor saw a chance to make a killing from the Feds. I have seen talk of just bulldozing entire areas, question is rebuilding and where and BY WHO (my experience with NO culture leads me to believe there will be ENORMOUS KICKBACK SCHEMES. If the people are not there how in the world can they make their claims etc etc. jdn
